Cincy AI Week Keynote Speakers Announced!
Cincy AI Week is the largest gathering of AI professionals and enthusiasts in the Midwest. This year, Cincy AI Week will feature three days of programming, each with a unique focus and keynote speaker. Cincy AI Week is powered by the Enterprise Technology Association, Cincinnati AI Catalyst, and a coalition of community partners. Programming is designed to turn ‘AI curiosity into AI capability’ in Greater Cincinnati and beyond. Register to attend and discover ways to get involved here.
Day One the program will focus on Responsible AI which is a pillar of the community-driven AI movement in and around Cincinnati. This will include a look at AI governance, policy, ethics, and safety. Day One is presented by Nexigen.
Keynote Speaker: Ravit Dotan, TechBetter
Brief Bio: Ravit Dotan, PhD, is a renowned tech ethicist specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) and data technologies. She aids tech companies, investors, and procurement teams in developing responsible AI strategies. Dr. Dotan was recognized as one of the 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics for 2023 and has received accolades such as the 2022 "Distinguished Paper" Award from the FAccT conference. Her work is featured in prominent publications like the New York Times and TechCrunch. Dr. Dotan holds a PhD in Philosophy from UC Berkeley and has extensive experience in AI ethics research, teaching, and advocacy for diversity and inclusion in academia.
Day Two the program will focus on AI Innovation, Research, and Education leading up to an AI Startup Showcase. Day two is presented by Pieces for Developers.
Keynote Speaker: Dinesh Maheshwari; CTA, Groq
Brief Bio: Dinesh Maheshwari is Humanist entrepreneur, Startup Advisor ( alt-r, Blumind, Zinite), CTA (Groq). Dinesh brings 3 decades of experience to the machine-learning space. He was part of the revolution in multi-threaded multi-processor systems in the mid-‘80s; was at the forefront of the EDA software revolution from late ‘80s to mid-‘90s; was part of the revolution in optical communications and networking from late ‘90s to early 2000s; while working at 9 startups, 3 of which he co-founded.
He has served on the Board of Advisors of 7 startups and has been awarded 58 US patents with 23 additional patents pending.
Day Three the program will focus on AI for Teams and Organizations at the AI Leadership Summit. Day Three is presented by Callibrity.
Keynote Speaker: Katie Trauth Taylor; CEO, Narratize
Brief Bio: Katie Trauth Taylor is the co-founder and CEO of Narratize, an innovative platform leveraging generative AI to transform complex scientific, technical, and medical insights into compelling narratives. Katie’s career spans over a decade in innovation storytelling, working with top brands like NASA, Boeing, and Unilever to articulate breakthrough ideas effectively. She also founded Untold Content, where she supports companies and federal agencies in communicating their innovations. A former research professor in Professional Writing, Katie now leads a team of expert writers, researchers, and designers. Her work is dedicated to advancing diversity and inclusion in AI narratives and she is recognized for her contributions to the field of generative AI and innovation storytelling
